Digital Trail Guide: Chief Benge Scout Trail (Mountain Fork to High Knob Recreation Area)

Note: The trail guide's starting point is High Knob Recreation Area rather than Forest Road 704 (depicted in the video). The 15.6-mile Chief Benge Scout Trail is open to foot traffic and mountain biking. Please also note that High Knob Recreation Area's facilities, including bathrooms and the campground, are open seasonally from late May to early fall. The recreation area has recently been closed throughout the year, however, due to ongoing repairs to its water system. Please visit the Clinch Ranger District's website for updates on this closure.
