The City of Norton, in conjunction with the Great American Cleanup, is offering Adopt-A-Truck and Large Item Pick-Up Programs to residents free of charge. This year's programs will run April 19-29. Residents may have large appliances, bulky furniture and other items transported from their property to the proper disposal location. For large loads of trash and tree limbs, residents may make special arrangements for a city truck to be parked overnight at their residence. A driver will return the following morning to take the load to the city shop.

Truck reservations begin April 1. Contact Michele Knox, Norton Parks and Recreation Department Director, at (276) 679-0754 for more information.
