Confirmed COVID Cases In City Hall

On Friday, October 2nd, we were informed that two of our team members had tested positive for COVID-19.  For everyone’s safety, those team members will be isolated until they are cleared to return to duty, and we look forward to having them back soon.

City Staff has been working to sanitize City Hall.  Although City Hall is expected to be open with regular hours on Monday, we remind everyone that for the safety and convenience of our citizens and customers, many of our services can easily be accessed from home by phone or computer.  Those city services include work orders as well as utility and tax payments, online or placed in our drop box adjacent to the front door.

If you prefer or require direct access to city services, we ask for your safety and that of our employees, that you follow the CDC and Commonwealth of Virginia guidelines of wearing a mask and maintaining social distancing while on city property.

Let's All Work Together to Remain #NortonStrong.
